Are you trying to lose stomach fat by dieting? Have you tried to lose belly fat (or any fat) in the past where you feel nothing is actually happening, even though you may be on an extreme diet like water and vegetables?

I feel your pain – so I have, multiple times. I’ve tried starving myself for weeks hoping to lose an extra 5 lbs or so. I’ve lost a few lbs but the weight always came back as soon as I started eating again. Frustrating.

For some, dieting can be an effective way for losing stomach fat. For others, losing body fat by dieting is all but impossible with diet.

It took me years to finally realize that dieting was not enough – not in itself. You have to combine diet with other things to see the results you want. So here are a few tips of how to lose weight quickly and get that set of abs you dream about. These won’t in themselves give you the perfect body, but they are important factors in helping you lose weight.

#1 – Eat Less Food!

Sounds very simple, right? But anyone who’s ever tried it know just how difficult this really is. You can first start trying to diet by using smaller and smaller plates. This will have the effect of forcing your portion size down – thus ensuring that you eat less. For losing belly fat, this is pretty key to do.

The next thing you should do for losing belly fat is to eat slower. Chew your food, taking time to appreciate it. The slower you eat, the LESS you will eat.

#2 – Get out and do stuff!

Sounds easy, but this can be a big challenge for most people. One trick that I found was to look for any way to avoid using automated transportation. Walk up stairs instead of using elevators. Ride a bike for pleasure. Go swimming or hiking or surfing (can you tell which one I like to do?). These may be little steps by themselves but they add up to big steps.

#3 – Drink lost of water!

Did you know that about 70% of your body mass is water? Water is essential for your body to function properly. One reason why you may not be loosing stomach fat is that you simply are not drinking enough water. Try and drink at least 6 glasses of water each day. Drink water before your meals – this will help to fill you up. Also, if you drink beer and pop, replace them with water to help lose weight faster.

There is no doubt that losing weight can be a challenge. Following these important tips can help you lose a few pounds – maybe more.
